Students in grade 2 participated in a “Life in the Past” unit this Spring. Students learned about what it was like to be a child growing up long before our modern day advances like technology. Throughout the unit students took part in games and activities such as writing with a quill pen, exploring toys, and learning about a real child who grew up and attended school in Livermore, Maine. To wrap up the unit grade 2 took a field trip to Norlands Living History Center in Livermore.
